After our first meeting, we knew Diana and Alex were the perfect fit. Their expertise in classic architecture proved to be invaluable to us throughout the process with this unique property.
Even prior to the closing on our house, Diana came out to meet us and offer suggestions. She also helped with the contractor bidding process which has helped us to stay on budget and match us up to the perfect contractor.
Overall, Diana and Alex are wonderful to work with! We highly recommend Hoffman Architects!

As construction proceeded, Diana provided feedback and made excellent recommendations for a cabinet manufacturer and where to shop for new appliances. She helped match the granite countertop we picked out with suitable tile flooring in the kitchen and mudroom, and made suggestions for window treatments.
As a result, our new kitchen turned out beautifully and we are delighted with it. We highly recommend her.

You have really made our Thanksgiving. The kitchen, mudroom and mini-bar area are terrific – far beyond our wildest expectations. Furniture is in, electronic equipment has been installed, and even the fireplace is working! We have been getting tremendous waves of compliments.
Thanks again!

I want to thank you for all of the wonderful guidance you have shown to me, both on the technical and the design level of this project. But I am also deeply touched by your patience and a generosity of spirit you possess. You have a very fine blend of qualities that distinguishes you from many. Bet you didn’t even know it!

…I think the primary reason you were successful in achieving the Variances requests is because of the strategically sound planning during the past few months…your judgment about size/scope/design for our house turned out to be exactly what we needed to meet our objectives and receive the blessings of the Board. The more I thought about it, it wasn’t just your presentation on Monday night, it was the good work during the prior months leading up to the presentation that enabled you to be so confident.
We couldn’t be happier with you as our architect!

There are no words to describe your “performance” (for lack of a better word) on our meeting yesterday. You are the ultimate professional. You are organized, talented, and brilliant (in no special order…all equal).
I know this is a major project and Richard and I are so glad we have you as our backbone. Thanks for meeting with us on a Saturday morning.

Working with you and your staff on our building upgrade project has been a pleasure. You’ve always brought a high level of professionalism and expertise to the table. I’m sure you will be as proud as we are of the end result.

Project Description: Hoffman Architects and a five-person Committee first explored alterations only. Budgets and functionality of the alterations were compared to a solution involving an addition. The final design created a Multi-purpose Room – Training Room Addition. New ADA-compliant bathrooms, a new kitchenette, and miscellaneous alterations were also part of the project.
A good architect can make a new structure distinctive and functional, but it takes a great architect to make a poorly designed existing structure distinctive and functional. Hoffman Architects combines excellent attention to detail, balanced and distinctive design and hard to accomplish function all at once. Hoffman Architects can make small spaces work like big spaces and can turn any plain facade into a make of spatial beauty.

Project Description: An exciting and unique Mixed-Use building. Innovative merchandising has retailers sharing space on the 1st and 2nd Floors; performing arts on the Lower Level; and office space on the 3rd Floor. New storefronts along the 1st Floor sidewall open onto a vest pocket park.
Faced with the daunting task of constructing a three-story addition while preserving the original feel of our 80 year-old home, we needed an architect with the right blend of creativity, efficiency, and collaboration. After interviewing several candidates, we selected Hoffman Architects and could not have been more satisfied. Diana Hoffman kept her word every step of the way, by solving complicated problems, by presenting multiple options, meeting every deadline in our tight schedule, working seamlessly with our builder throughout the construction, and running a bid process with an experienced hand.
